Often referred to as the mother of postmodern dance, Anna Halprin has been an innovator in the field of dance since the late 1930s working with artists such as Trisha Brown, Meredith Monk, Yvonne Rainer, John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Terry Riley and La Monte Young. This project involves processing papers, rehousing dance scores, scanning / cataloging photographs and posters, cataloging videos, and updating the finding aid.
